EagleSoft Ltd's New
Gamedev PC!
(Part 3/Final)
Intro
In my previous blog post of this series (part 2) on my project of building a new gamedev PC, the Big Eagle, I:
- Replaced my broken Logitech G19 keyboard with a G19s keyboard
- Installed a WiFi 7/Bluetooth 5.4 PCIe networking card
- Added a few more stickers onto the case
- Picked up some unexpected extra/spare hardware from thrift stores.
All that was left to wrap up this PC build was:
- Decorations
- Create a custom EagleSoft Ltd. logo sticker for the Asus Turbo GTX 1070 custom decal area
- Create a few other custom stickers to wrapup the build
- Misc
- Taglio PIVKey C980 v2 card
- Provision card for single-computer login (EIDAuthenticate)
- Separate blog post
- Make a custom EagleSoft Ltd logo sticker on front of card (Cucu covers?)
I just wanted to add 2 more stickers onto the PC case. At the local hackerspace HackPGH, I printed out these two stickers via sticker paper and a Cricut cutter machine for the shape forming of the stickers.
Final stickers:
- HackPGH logo
- Eryn from Fairy Fencer F series
(Asus Turbo GTX 1070 GPU)
The Big Eagle Windows 11 gaming computer build is done! It took about a year's worth of work and saving money for purchases of parts over time, but the newer hardware upgrade has been great. I expect the machine to last for years and be performant for modern-day gaming, WiFi 7, 4K graphics, and VR support.
In a future/separate EagleSoft Ltd. blog post, I do want to provision my Taglio PIVKey C980 v2 card with EIDAuthenticate software in order to design a card-based login system with the SmartCard reader.
Keep on hacking and tinkering - Eagle
